Hunpel

Originally the company was founded by four partners, assuming that three of us worked in the automotive industry about ten years in the areas of product engineering and automotive design itself. Experience in General Motors Co. took us to perform our work in engineering centers in countries like USA, Canada, Germany and Brazil itself, which have rich experience in diverse fields of industry and manufacturing, as well as process development of advanced design technologies.

Jorge Mauricio Rodriguez is a graduate of the Research Center of Industrial Design at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, graduating with honors, having obtained his Diploma of Merit in Professional thesis work.

Among his accomplishments within GM is having belonged to the team that designed the Chevrolet Chevy C2 2004 and was awarded as the "Chairman's Honors Award" for the good performance, having served as project leader in the design interior of the car.


He was a collaborator for the magazine "Car and Driver" publisher "Readers Digest", between 2007 and 2009, writing articles on topics related to automotive design.

From January 2011 to date serves as Director for Teaching Strategies and is part of the Technical Board of Rigoletti House of Design.

David Hernandez Sanchez graduated as Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterey Mexico State campus in 2001. Makes a specialty in Automotive Engineering at the Universities of Saarbrucken and Modena. In 2003 enters as engineering manager at TAG Company Inc. and becomes the company's general manager from 2005 to date. Since 2007, co-directs the company Hunpel SA de CV.

It is noteworthy that between 2005 and 2007, consisted Hunpel various professionals who actively participated in the projects implemented during the period.
