Joel Escalona

Joel Escalona has developed an exceptional design practice, working with clients in México, USA, France and Italy among other countries. In 2010 Joel Escalona was featured as one of the 50 Emergent Talents of the Americas by Arquine Magazine, introduced by international design magazine Wallpaper* as "one of the top of the next wave of creative talent worldwide" and in 2011 he was featured by CODIGO Magazine as one of the representatives of the new generation of design made from Mexico; most of his design work has been featured in books, newspapers and specialized design magazines worldwide.

Joel Escalona has won several design awards and recognitions worldwide like the Modern Decoration International Media Prize in China, the ICFF Studio in US or the Premio Iconos del Diseño 2010 by Architectural Digest in Mexico City and exhibited his work in many design exhibitions like the Maison&Objet in Paris and the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York always introducing Joel as a "young emerging designer to watch for".
