Moises Hernández
Born in Mexico City in 1983, he graduated with honors from the ITESM in 2007, with a bachelor' s degree in Industrial Design .In 2006, went to Italy where he spent 6 months studying at the Politecnico di Torino, this experience broadened his vision and understanding of contemporary design, complementing his previous education.
After graduating, he became part of Ezequiel Farca’s team under the Innovation and product development area in Mexico City. There he worked in different projects involving furniture and home accessories, as well as commercial projects for companies like Aeromexico and Stanza, where the use of interior, industrial and graphic design tools complemented each other. In 2009, he became team leader for the product development area, winning several awards including two good design awards from The Chicago Athenaeum under the bathroom accessories and table accessories categories.
In 2010, Moisés wants to explore and develop his own personal style and principles, and later brings this into the table, creating objects and making them part of people’s lives and a reflection of their personality.
His hometown, being chaotic and over populated, as well as Mexican objects and traditions, textures, social contrast and chromatic diversity are elements influencing Moise’s work.
